Welcome to the Soltsi Missions team blog from First Baptist Church of Woodbridge, supporting outreach ministries of the Novgorod Evangelical Baptist Church and partnering with the Soltsi Baptist Church in Russia. We pray that you will partner with us through prayer as we seek to obey God's callling to do His work in Soltsi. - Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"

St. Petersburg
We are in St. Petersburg enjoying all of the sights. Today we went to the Hermitage and it was so impressive to see all of the beautiful artwork and architecture. I think we are all a little sad that this is our last day here. We have to leave the hotel for the airport at 3:30 AM St. Petersburg time so it will be a long day tomorrow!! I know each of us can't wait to see our families again! We miss you all and love you and we will see you tomorrow!!!

Hi Meredith--You are doing a great job of keeping us posted about your activities and the pictures are great. In some of them I can’t tell who is having more fun--the team members or the kids? Would it be possible to put the names of the team members who are in the pictures you are showing, some are so small I can’t see who they are. I’ve written several comments but when I try to post them, they won’t let me get away unless I give them my URL. I have no idea what a URL is…I think I got vaccinated against having that…anyway, Stef Kurtz is being kind and letting me borrow hers. Y’all keep up the good work.
Richard--You told me you were leaving Zambia to go to Russia because it was time “to pass on the baton” and Karen grabbed it and hit the ground running. You have left some big shoes to fill but it seems like she is doing great. Say “hello” to Montine.
Cherrie--You are a hard lady to get ahold of. I tried calling you about Women’s Ministry. I even called the church to get your number since I couldn’t find it under “Hook.” They told me it was now Lindsay. They also told me not only weren’t you in town, but you had left the state, the country and even the continent! Hey, I can take a hint. If you don’t want me to contact you, you could have just told me-- you didn’t have to go to all the trouble to go to Russia. Ha! I hope you are having a wonderful time and we can get together when you get back.
Love, Linda
